This article showed up in my Science Daily feed and I had debated to cue it up but I was, like, "nah..." xD
this seems extremely clickblaity. At best, you could say a liquid which takes a seemingly gravity defying shape. There could be a billion ways to reach such shapes (for example surface tension of the liquid, and it having some bistable, or a metastable state that we achieve with this shaking)
Yeah, no.
Thermodynamics is one of those things that you don't break. If you claim you did you either prove it with extraordinary evidence and get a Nobel prize, or you're full of shit.
I'm betting on the latter
