Despite being hurled against my door the Famicom flash cart works - more importantly I got to test Jurl on my Famicom - it’s a good port, runs quickly and I remembered to put an option in to press select to turn off my awful music whilst in game #IndieDev #RetroDev #RetroGaming
itch-io are doing a black friday promotion so if you wanted too many versions of one game and one other game for a cheaper price then this will be available in 7 hours itch.io/s/168833/black-friday- #RetroDev #IndieDev #RetroGaming #RetroComputing
Another new in-progress port of Jurl. This time for the Nintendo Entertainment System, joining it's GameBoy and Super Nintendo family. Very early demo, unpolished, unoptimised and silent #IndieDev #RetroDev #RetroGamingtonsomo.itch.io/jurl-nes-editi
Continuing the stream of pointless and largely unwanted ports of Jurl, here's the first playable release of the Gamate port #IndieDev #RetroDev #RetroGaming
Alright, changed the theme tune for the Gameboy version of Jurl. I transposed the dance version into a format that the GPT player library i'm using can understand. It's still not great, but somewhat less off a cacophony. #RetroGaming #IndieDev #RetroDev #Nintendo
Updated the Sinclair Spectrum Edition of Jurl so it's up to date with (most) of the others by adding the Bonus functionality and adding a demo to the page.#RetroComputing #RetroGaming #IndieDev #RetroDev
I’ve finally managed to try Jurl out on actual Neo Geo Pocket hardware. It doesn’t work on the original one - which I expected but I need to add the messaging to say that.
New version of the Watara/Quickshot/etc Supervision Jurl has been released. It's now entirely playable with an ending screen and everything. There's a few bugs and I still haven't worked out how to make sound(if anyone knows how to make the sound work for the Supervision using CC65 then please let me know)
