Really good advice here. Part of the experience/roleplay is surviving and you can get stronger slowly.

Dude, I’ll need a picture of a setup, how much desktop real state do you have, but I guess it is a driving sim config.
To your question, I personally would go for an HDR capable monitor, possibly mini-led. OLED is amazing but it will eventually burn.
A card mini game? Bro, call me Gwent it goes viral. ;)

“Sure, that mysterious downstairs rash will probably clear up. But why wait on biology when you could unleash the all-new Ford™ F-150 with a face-melting 720 HORSEPOWER? It doesn’t just drive-it obliterates problems, rashes included.”

Linux Gaming@lemmy.world•Cyberpunk 2077 freezes after 10-15 minsEnglish
3·1 month agoNah, I played all Cyberpunk from GOG with the earliest versions of Proton. I believe I dirst used Lutris for installing it. Should be ok IMHO.
I would suspect some screensaver/sleep command running in the background, if the 10 mins is really consistent, but like another comment said, we are just guessing without logs.

Linux Gaming@lemmy.world•[SOLVED] Unity games downloaded from Steam not working on Linux MintEnglish
2·2 months agoMight as well be, are you in an older Linux Mint version? Although if the Heroic games are running fine there shouldn’t be a problem.
Btw, if you run steam from the terminal you can probably see if there are some errors reported when running the game.
You might also try running your game through gamescope that might work even faster.

4·2 months agoCan you tell me which Nvidia card you have? Your comment “since a few weeks” makes me wonder, were all working fine before?
If your other games in GOG work then you could try disabling the Steam Runtime environment. In my computer I would be using Steamtinkerlaunch for that, so you could try it.
Don’t let dreams be dreams!!!
I switched to in in December and was nicely surprised. I also do like real Mangos.

I have the same gpu RTX 3070 with an i5 8600k and Im CPU bound, not by much though. Last time I played Witcher 3 it was running very good only in Novigrad it was stuttery due to the amount of characters

O but do it manually, not because a script will eventually break your system with a partial update, but because the excitement of watching your AUR packages get a new release knowing it is a gamble for system stability.
