It might take dacades, or even centuries, but defeatism and attributing all negative qualities of humanity to some “others” who just are incapable of thinking for themselves won’t help anyone. Culture is intergenerational accumulation of knowledge and it can change. It did change. It shapes human activity more than biology in many situations. And it evolves way faster than biology. This is not a dig at you. All I am trying to say is, if you can see the wrong and imagine the right, there are definitely many others like you, and we can change things. Not you and me specifically maybe (but also maybe you and me) but all the people with a conscience, in time.
