Hard to feel sorry when so much of their union voted for Trump. What goes around…

3·4 months agoI refuse to do a Pixel 10 of any variety because they removed the SIM card slot. I’m getting really tired of my options being removed so big companies can force us to spend more and/or have more control over how we use their “services.”

21·4 months agoWhat? You don’t automatically trust “The Editorial Team’s” assertion at the bottom that “This article is based on verified sources and supported by editorial technologies” is valid? I mean they linked to a few other articles - the fact they’re only ones on their own site shouldn’t matter…
🙄 “Trust me, bro!”

Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•Might as well have everything that you need in one aisle
2·4 months agoFacts are facts, & I have little respect for people who can’t deal with them. I’d rather you correct me than allow me to continue making myself look like an idiot. We’re all humans, and we all make mistakes - anyone who acts otherwise is an asshole not worthy of respect. As long as we’re respectful, honest, and fair with one another, then there’s no need for embarrassment or feeling bad as you did because you’re trying to help, not harm. Anyone who doesn’t see that has a screwed up perspective on things.
Thanks again.

There must be some serious pressure to get this out the door if they think an untouchable static display is worth making any kind of deal about. Reeks of old school Microsoft FUD to slow down adoption of a competitor’s product that’s well ahead of them. This kind of desperation for attention just makes me all the less inclined to trust their product will be up to snuff when it’s rushed out the door.
