Uh, did people think “socialize the risks, privatize the profits” was just a slogan?

This isn’t new… its a tale as old as the huge privatization push in the 80s

you mean the same Enbridge tat renamed to enercare because of public hatred for them?

the same Enbridge that buys water heaters for $700, then rents them for $6000 with bullshit contracts, and forced new home construction to also RENT appliances in a BRAND NEW house? yeah… buy a house, get fucked with a rental contract you can’t cancel without a buyout of the entire contract…

That sounds like a contract that any judge should be able to throw out in under 30 seconds

I wish lol…a lot of people don’t even know they are renting because of some bullshit agreement they made where they were able to apply the rentals directly to people’s gas bills.

hundreds of thousands of pissed off people…and nothing was done but an investigation and ohh look. they did nothing wrong. check Reddit for enercare // Enbridge and rentals, lol…it’s nonstop pissed people being scammed with fees, and rental charges etc…new homes, old homes transferred to new owner (the rental transfers too…)
