I only used my own subs for my personal interests or All to discover something new. It was, at least at one time, good for surfacing things I never would have looked for. More often things that didn’t interest me, but that was valuable in itself.
My mom had a reduction paid by insurance. Your case doesn’t mean it can’t happen, just your provider chain is being difficult. Keep trying or change you’re provider if you can.
I’ve never understood why they don’t for roads where there is a parking lane. Or why the connection is perpendicular to the curb rather than parallel.
However, as with most safety things I assume there must be a valid reason they have been installed in this manner for decades.
I hope for more. If they don’t have something substantial very soon they’ve got some serious problems maintaining the standards they profess to have, and we all should question the validity of their content.

Which, honestly, I find unacceptable. To let something that has the possibility of trashing their reputation to fester for 3 days while their audience has idle time to speculate and spread the issue is just irresponsible. Surely such a risk deserves priority treatment. They’re not new at this. I’m doubly disappointed.

From what I’ve read the new mayor has withdrawn all orders from the previous mayor following his criminal indictment on the grounds that they may be self serving to the previous mayor and/or made as political favors intended to avoid prosecution.
I’ve also read the new mayor is reviewing each to see which are worth reimplenting in part or in whole.
Whether or not this was a wise choice is up for debate, but it is no surprise that those affected were ready to pounce in order to score political points. Someone associated with the new mayor must have seen this coming for this particular religiously charged topic, and must have known the NY press would not be forgiving.
With the rise in life expectancy I think this is a new problem, but you’re likely right that it will continue as power is not easily relinquished.
I think this is less the legitimacy of the tests but the hypocracy of the admin putting such importance in the thing then retalitating against lower level people when one of their own appointees fail.

GBoard, before I switched, was like 95% accurate. I could trust it for blind typing. Heliboard with the google library is maybe 70% accurate and frustrating. “typing” in that last sentence was first “topping” the second “ripping” before I tapped it out.
To this day nobody is as good as Swype was. RIP.
