I suspect it’s not just Putin but that Russia doesn’t want to over commit in the event of a full scale war with the west. They’ve kept a shitload of stronger assets out of this war and the only way to look at holding that instead of using it is that it’s deemed necessary as a deterrent to nato.

This is stupid behaviour too because it’s not like any of this shit ever affects the bottom line. Consumers don’t pay attention to any of it and even when they’re aware of data breaches it’s just an expected and accepted thing that happens from time to time these days.
I really fucking hate when americans look at the UK and say things like we hold our leaders accountable and that we do things right.
