Captured by the Gestapo, during interrogation she took the Nazi’s gun and shot him in the head; in her attempt to escape she executed 2 more Nazis.
Zinaida only wanted to avenge her grandmother, who was brutally tortured by Nazi troops, who expelled her from her home and stole her livestock, with her granddaughter present… the Nazis had no idea they had created a monster.
To avenge the beating of her grandmother, Zinaida infiltrated a Nazi military outpost kitchen, posing as a cook’s assistant and poured cyanide into the battalion’s food pot.
After the poisoning, Zinaida was captured and during interrogation, after being tortured, she managed to untie her hands, take the pistol from the Nazi officer interrogating her, shoot him in the head, and execute two more Nazis.
Zinaida was named a Hero of the USSR and was decorated by the Supreme Soviet with the Order of Lenin; museums, schools, streets, and Soviet pioneer organizations were named after her.

Not only brave, but the level of planning it must have taken to get to that point and then to carry out it effectively.
She was ready to die and take as much nazi life as possible. That type of thought can only happen when you have lost everything to these demonic monsters such as the nazis.
It is truly sad how many stories like this happened. Stories of people that were driven to the edge and used everything at their disposal(including their own lives) to kill the nazi beast.
If only the fascists and the capitalists that feed them didn’t exist…
Yeah, it’s gut-wrenching to think about. We have to see it through and make sure they see their end.
Girls rock.
