Exodus devs want players to feel compelled by side quests regardless of the reward

Side quests that are fleshed out and feel just as good as the main story are rewarding enough on their own. Sadly not many games offer this type of experience. If the quests are mundane then yeah i will hope the rewards make up for it. The one game i can say that lived up to this was Witcher 3. It had a mixture of incredible story driven mystery quests that felt amazing, but also a mix of easy ones that didnt do much.
