Those are stunning. 👍
Yeah on the surface level, it says genetics that will give a good looking body, and humans are attracted to beauty.
Fat would be a easy problem to solve. Try being ugly. :)
Its highly ironic that both genders are failing at what they are supposed to be though. Women are not prices and men are not warriors. We know this. No?
Its just marketing. :)
If anything, the gender wars have shown how women can be just as awful as men. No gender is a price or warrior. We are just… People.
Well, to be fair, she must be a very special woman. That is the reason why he loves her so much. My takeaway is actually that women should strive to be like that.
Either way, they seem like a fantastic match for eachother.
Which makes you wonder why people even pick partners based on beauty. It would make more sense to pick them based on personality.
That being said, I value very much that my girlfriend takes care of herself even with many years in a relationship. She could easily become fat but she exercises and stays fit, and I do the same. For us its important, but its not the main reason we are together.

111·2 months agoI tried it before, it was buggy and my tabs locked up. Also since its based on chrome, its very nerfed when it comes to powerful plugins. I didnt like it. My first impression was positive but no, it feels very bloated.
But if you like it and you feel its better than Firefox for you, thats a good thing.
Yeah. But I think most of us would only last 2 days on a farm, and then come screaming back to comfortable office life.

11·3 months agoYeah. I would say it male and female programming but the Lemmy crowd may jump on me. :p
Yeah ive noticed this about the reactions to the comet. There are two camps, one who thinks Loeb is all the negative things you said, and another who thinks he makes a lot of sense.
Either way, I think the comet is very interesting and look forward to following it the coming weeks. :)

7·3 months ago100% agree with you. I think travelling is maybe key to this realization also. Just seeing other cultures makes us question our own and if its really the best way to live life. :)
Ive had many jobs through life and in the rear view mirror, they just were a way to pay the bills. I dont think about those jobs or the people i worked with at all. It didnt give very meaningful life experiences either. A lot of office work.
Thats not whats happening at all. I have read Loebs posts and seen his videos about this comet. He says we should be open to the possibility of it being something else than a comet. He doesnt say “omg aliens” at all. Have you read his medium posts?
As for Youtubers, sure, tons of Ai generated shitty videos to make money, yeah.
I saw some Ai generated videos saying it broke up but there are amateur astronomers filming it as we speak. You are saying it broke up but still looks the same, or? Because sometimes I dont understand if “broken up” means what I think it does. To me it should be gone if that happened?

There are still daily articles from Loeb talking about it. This one is from a few hours ago:

4·3 months agoI think most viewers never notice. My girlfriend notices all of this immediately, she should have become a detective. :) I never notice it myself. My brain simply doesnt pick it up… Maybe thats a good thing.

8·3 months agoYeah, they create urgency in tv shows to make the viewer feel its more exciting. I think another example of this is Hells Kitchen. :)
Also the editing of that show is hilarious. They take out of place facial expressions and put it in scenes where they never happened, to create a viewer experience that is more exciting.
It is entertaining but I wonder how many people dont realize this when watching…
