I interpret this as the “boundary” being one-way away from us, with us at the “top of the potential well”. As opposed to the more commonly proposed idea that the universe is inside a black hole.

Hawking radiation is based on the curvature of the event horizon, so in this case I think it should balance negatively, sucking out energy from the universe, probably by releasing negative energy particles in the particle perspective.

This doesn’t make physical sense, which matches that such an event horizon shape also doesn’t make sense and shouldn’t be able to be created I think.

It’s also completely fine under all international law.
Following copyright law is more like a trade agreement, so if you feel wronged enough as a nation it’s completely uncontroversial to suspend all or all international copyright law and deal with the consequences (mainly the us being very salty about it).

The EU contingency for a US attack on Greenland for example is among other steps to suspend all US copyrights recognition and starve the US service industry.

Yeah but then if they pass your id and agree to the bribery they’ll give you the 100$? It’s the wrong way around to be bribery.

Bribery needs pass and pay, this is pass or pay. The incentive for the storekeeper is to not sell to you and get the money.

Das hier scheint dann weiter völlig haltlos dazustehen.

Im Artikel geht nicht hervor was davon tatsächlich in den Bevörderungsbedingungen steht. Also hab ich mal reingesehen und hab nicht mal allgemeine Klauseln zu “Unterbrechung” gesehen. Weder bei DB noch ÖBB.

Hab dann noch weiter reingelesen, und der ÖBB schreibt sogar extra bei Standardtickets “Sie können Ihre Fahrt zwischendurch unterbrechen”*!

Also weiß nicht was der Artikel da ranziehen will, aber ich glaube die Behauptungen sind falsch und es ist vertraglich erlaubt jederzeit irgendwo auszusteigen wie man lustig ist.

*Die ÖBB setzt außnahmen, aber nur für ein paar (7) Österreichische Städte. Außerdem nur wenn das Start oder Endbahnhöfe sind. Nicht sicher was es damit auf sich hat aber trifft hier ja nicht zu, geht wahrscheinlich um Entschädigung durch ÖPNV Verspätung o.ä.

Most lenses only care about the angular light distribution, essentially averaging over the lens surface. So a ding or crack would just add a tiny portion of grey or black to the entire image

Edit: This is for cracking the front protective glass of a camera lens. If an actual optical lens splits in two it will be misaligned and bad things will happen.
