Personally, I don’t feel comfortable giving my ID to social media. Especially not with the many data breaches that are happening these days. I think it was a month or three ago that Discord had their data breach and got thousands of ID’s stolen of people.

Yet Discord still decides to push forward their “verification system with ID or face scan”.

Also here’s a screenshot of a comment someone once made and that also got me thinking about the future of “showing your ID and/ or Face scan to ‘protect the kids’”. Another note; people and especially teenagers will nearly always find ways to get around rules. I mean, we all were teenagers before and we often also got around the rules.

Oh, definitely! I’m half European and half Arabian and living in Europe. Back in my teenage days, when having a huge conflict at school. I would shout “ibn” which just means “son”. Shout it in the right tone when angry and people will think it is some huge insult.

Not at all. Not even for online multiplayer, I remember Yuzu had some way to play multiplayer (there’s even a whole discord server for this).

I think Nintendo is trying to scare everyone by trying to take everything down and sue. But we have seen that it does not work, it’ll just split the base once again in multiple fragments (with different emulators).

Though, it feels like the development of Switch emulation has stagnated. I don’t see improvements for current games that have trouble running on the emulators (which often both original Yuzu and Ryujinx would fix by time).

Nintendo succeeded in killing Yuzu because they had decryption keys which Nintendo could argue is breaking their copy protection, which is why they settled for 2.4 million dollars in sales damage

He mentioned, he’s trying to get his life back on the rails; he got send to jail twice and then he went to the gym and got much more healthier (lost a lot of weight). I was surprised that he got send to jail, let alone twice.

Just finished Super Mario Odyssey and going to start with Sackboy.

Super Mario Odyssey was a fun ride, really liked how you can play different monsters and objects. I just found the last kingdom a bit annoying.
