Well they don’t do any maintenance. And considering the plant only gets built if the NRC says so, I think they’ll manage. NRC doesn’t fuck around. It’s also not a good look to Trump’s base to deregulate nuclear safety; they’re historically the ones more worried about that.

You’ve made me realize I don’t watch too many post apocalyptic movies lol. As far as my recommendations go, Pontypool is an underrated gem IMO. Sort of takes place as the apocalypse is happening, so not quite the same, but it’s a fun watch. The Mist is similar, but is pretty emotionally heavy by the end.

Hi! I also got Linux running recently. Not sure what distro you used, but a friend recommended Nobara to me since it comes native with all the things necessary to run Windows games, like Wine. So far I haven’t had any issues, but none of the games I play use kernel level anti cheat.

I have no love for Newsom, and don’t doubt this post’s premise, but the video also cuts off before he actually gets to respond; it just shows him nodding along saying “yup” as Ben is talking before (presumably) responding with actual words.
