Maybe they did click the microphone and that’s how they talk?
My cousin is from the Bronx, she uses speech to text a lot. Half of the texts i get from her i have to say out loud a few times to get them.

Maybe he did and his accent is just awful.
Like if someone from Baltimore tried to say “Aaron earned and iron urn” and just got “earn earn earn earn earn.”
