Among the grieving crowd, fans united in song: they sang Mayabini, one of Zubeen’s songs he had often expressed should be played when he passed away. The moment turned emotional as many remembered the singer for his touching voice and performances.

According to ANI, earlier today, a second post‑mortem was conducted in Guwahati at Guwahati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH), after confirmation that a post‑mortem had already been done in Singapore. The decision to conduct a second examination in Assam came after public demand. Chief Minister Sarma mentioned to reporters that conversations had taken place with Zubeen’s wife, Garima Saikia Garg, regarding this demand.
