The biggest issue is the price. I remember a time when even the poorest kid in class had a Nintendo because it was cheap.
The last cheap Nintendo was the 2DS over a decade ago. Most parents are looking for cheap hardware with entertainment and there isn’t anything which comes close to it.
Even the switch lite is the same price as the PS3 bundle back in the day. And it came with 2 real controllers and a game.
Just tried it, worked to hold it in position for a bit. Fell apart once I started to use it mechanically.
The plastic is brittle. I think I’ll just delay the inevitable if I use super glue
There are some community prints like this. https://www.printables.com/model/194982-prusa-minimini-no-logo-frontrear-plate-with-honeyc
But I don’t know how brave I feel about taking it apart again.

As someone who has beaten the game. The cash grab part is just after your first day and the “open world” starts up.
It’s not a bad game, but it gets pretty bland and generic once the main loop of ditching school starts.

DVD was to make a physical media of streaming content for a relative who doesn’t use technology but wanted to watch it. This would’ve been about 5 years ago ish since we don’t see them much anymore.
CD was about 3 years ago for my car since its head unit didn’t have car play. We’ve since purchased an iPod 7th gen to do the job.

Printables has paid models now if you want to support a designer. I remember being recommended MyMiniFactory for more premium print a while ago.
With that said, I think it depends on what you are looking for and what you are trying to make. I see a lot of comments recommending Blender and FreeCAD. So I wanted to give you alternatives.
With that said, Blender is for 3D Modeling (think molding with Clay), where as FreeCAD is more like blueprints. Both have a high learning curve, and Blender has a large community to help new users. FreeCAD is getting there, but has a steep learning Curve. TinkerCAD and Fusion from Autodesk may get some hate here (for many good reason), but are the easiest softwares to get into if you want to make mechanical design.

While cantilever printers can be an annoying honestly converting your Mini to direct drive will improve print quality more than dual Z motors.
That said have fun it’s your machine.

I just got a 256GB steam deck. It’s do able. But you’ll want a PC nearby with your games installed. Then it’ll just download it from your PC for lightning fast installs.

Good night cheapest game box on the market.

You can’t make rom backups we here at Nintendo say their unnecessary.

My favourite thing to do is to get Xbox hardware for cheap, then use them in ways which daddy MS doesn’t want.
Like the Xbone, plays all the AC games (that matter) is really cheap. Just keep it offline and boom the system is usable. It’s not like it’s getting any new games.

If I had to guess, the game isn’t gamepad optimized i.e. CIV 5, so the game is marked as a keyboard game.
Just shows how well steam input works.

I see you too have a waste of retail space known as Best Buy/Best Buy Mobile in your community.

I will not defend Amazon. But the lack of local retail/price gouging which is shipping in Canada keeps pushing me to Amazon.
I need a role of 3D printable filament or an SD Card. The nearest store is 1-2 hours away and costs twice as much for the convenience, buying from the manufacturer may not possible and if it is shipping cost just as much as the product.
I would love it if there was competition, but there isn’t and Amazon knows it. So for the most part I just buy from brands I know are safe.

Shhhh, she might hear you and totally wasn’t my plan.
If my original Steam Controller dongle wasn’t destroyed I’d totally test it too.

These controllers worked on my friends system.

My wife is aiming to get a Steam Machine when they become available. This steam deck is taking the place of it until then for me.
It’s no worse then my older consoles and the alternatives from Ayn or Ambernic, and the facts it’s being consider and worked on is a positive.
It’s more of a personal one.
I made my first touch game in Unity. I tested all the system and everything worked after weeks of testing and I wasn’t able to find more bugs.
I gave my phone to my wife and asked her to try it. Immediately she was able to get the character to warp across the screen. I didn’t code this and based on my code this was impossible to happen.
After more testing I discovered that it wasn’t my code which was bugged but Unity’s. Since she was touching the screen in a way that it didn’t register that her finger was removed from the screen.
Ever since all my games touch inputs have manual timers to ensure that a touch is actually registered. And I give her my games to test since she usually breaks it in weird and wonderful ways.
