I’d argue that VSCode plus extensions is a decent replacement for Visual Studio and actually superior for many other text editing tasks that are not C++.

I’ve actually had a fair bit of success getting it to do things like this. Heck I even got it to do some matrix transformations of vectors in a JSON file.

As somebody who has been trying to decided which of the RAW photo editors to use, I can tell you that Darktable has a steep learning curve over Lightroom. The UI is incredibly dense and the names of sliders don’t make sense unless you’re an image science expert.

Except I couldn’t give a fuck about Nintendo games. Never played ‘em and probably won’t ever want to either.
