Look around on your local classifieds. Anything you find there should be better than an Xbox. Put Bazzite on it and you got the console experience.

It’s nonsense. These people expect you to say “installing apps from outside the first-party app store” every time you refer to sideloading and suggest that somehow the word has a negative connotation and was made up by corpos to keep you in their silos, even though the word predates the concept altogether.

I quit Spotify and started using internet radio. Once a month, instead of giving $20 to a corporate overlord, I donate it to my favorite indy radio station playing fresh songs. Not the same pop BS over and over. Unique music from talented local artists around the world.
It does take a bit more time and experimentation to find some great stations.

Honestly I’d be surprised if it’s not low end.

I may be a minority
That would be a problem.

Exactly. And we saw people doing that with the Steam Deck. Disney was using it to control their robots. Ukraine was using them to control IRL turrets. That’s just what we know of.

Probably 2 or 3 years before shortages are addressed.

“I think Valve was hoping for a much lower price and that the component issue would be short-term,” Cole said. “Obviously it is looking more like a long-term issue.”
I think we all knew this would be a long term issue.
Something happened over time, and I think it coincided with the rise of Donald Trump and the emergence of Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok as the social media platforms of choice. A lot of people just stopped bothering to defend their ideas against people who disagree with them. The arguments dried up.
It’s because we’ve realized these people are a completely lost cause.
The rise of these platforms increased the ability of politicians’ ability to disinform and manipulate people ten fold.

I guarantee 99% of people didn’t even know it was based on a game. Yes, he does have a following, but honestly not anywhere near big enough to explain the global sensation it’s become on his own.
So yes, you may have to establish some sort of following on your own before publishing a smash hit indie film, but there’s thousands of passionate people who have a similar following.

Iron Lung proves there’s room for more indie
gamefilms

According to Google it is not.

A computer is an appliance. In the strictest sense of the word.

I’ve heard the phrase “I saw an ad on Instagram for…” way too many fucking times.

Surprised Apple hasn’t patched this yet.
It’s being badly damaged by thousands of lazy AI-written merge requests to the extent that many have stopped accepting them entirely.
It’s also effectively DDOS’ing many open source sites (and the rest of the open internet), straining what limited funding they have.
So I would say a resounding yes.

There never was an Overwatch 2.

XMPP is federated
Thank you, we should probably have a community for this.
