Games@lemmy.worldβ’Day 486 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I've been playingEnglish
6Β·3 months agoI like your posts on the games youβre playing Atticus. And youβre 100% right, people have become much more willing to show how shitty they are. I think theyβre more willing because they see how people can still succeed while openly being shitty people, so they no longer assume that being inhuman impedes their personal success.
The only positive I can think of is that it least this makes shitty people easier to point out. It doesnβt make them easier to avoid because weβre unfortunately all bound to cross paths with them.

13Β·7 months agoAlways support your local production! Itβs better than feeding the mega-corporations that have an oligopoly in basically every single industry and market.
The biggest issue is that these βtoo big to failβ conglomerates are willing to take a loss to kill off local businesses, and then raise prices when theyβre the only option you have left.

2Β·7 months agoNo worries! In a lot of sites youβll find the embeded video or picture in a link in the source code. However, I havenβt figured tried to get this to work on YouTube in mobile browsers so that might not work

Unless you meant keeping the coal and gas plants, which really should be turned off and ended at this point. Theyβre just sources of lung cancer & emissions

Itβs not better in consultancy, actually. I know a few good people who couldnβt find work in any other companies in their field, and consultancy firms pay well but overwork their employees to the bone.
None of them could last more than a few months before deciding theyβd had enough of companies and their illogical corporate strategies. Especially when it comes to companies that donβt want to change their carbon footprint.
Honestly I can understand their rage. Seeing people who think theyβre right and refuse to change pains me too
