211·2 days agoI also think they were ready for that and they masked it live. It doesn’t make any sense for the presenters to mention the booing if you can’t even hear it in the recording. It must have been very loud.

1·11 days agoYou’re not correct on the “same price” thing. Yes, Apple declined version updates, but it’s because they don’t want apps to tell the user to go to the website, they don’t care about a price match.

5·11 days agoGoogle imposes the same restriction, if you buy a digital service (such as a Patreon subscription) you need to pay the Google tax.
I don’t know if Patreon got an exemption from Google, but any smaller developer doesn’t for sure.

Now Immich is considered stable, so it shouldn’t have breaking minor updates anymore.
Plus, if you use the docker installation you pretty much don’t have to worry about anything.
