Don’t worry, they always find these threads eventually and brigade them with downvotes.

Gumi Chan! :D

Also happened to my account from 2008 around the time of the API purge (and all my alt accounts except one). Banned me for “report abuse” because I reported too many blatant ads as spam. They had just killed off my favorite 3rd party app so I needed an excuse to leave anyway. Joined Lemm.ee and never looked back.
(And then Lemm.ee shut down so now my side account is my main account.)
I am also above average in heights and looks. A girl would follow me around in high school and harass and make fun of me all the time while still trying to be my friend. I couldn’t stand her at the time but in retrospect she was definitely crushing on me.
Don’t be ridiculous. MOV is an inefficient, out of date format.
A video file can never be too large. The more bits dedicated to image quality, the better.

My main issue is losing YouTube ReVanced. I refuse to pay for Premium! Especially to one of the wealthiest companies in the world!
46 years ago. Start with Reagan.

Calm down, XP was 13 years old when it was retired. It lived a long, happy life. And Windows 7 was released seventeen years ago.
Using either OS in 2026 is extremely dangerous and stupid. Please switch to Linux.
It’s been over 3 years now and I haven’t had a single issue. I made sure to plug in the 12VHPR cable all the way and avoid bending it. I also made sure to buy a top tier PCIe 5 PSU.
The issue was vastly blown out of proportion. Don’t be an idiot and you have nothing to worry about.
My biggest regret is going with 32 of instead of 64GB of DDR5, when I built a new Ryzen 7000 PC in 2022 to replace my aging 4th gen i5.
But what I don’t regret is ignoring everyone telling me not to do all sorts of unspeakable things to snag a $1600 4090 at launch, especially given that it was never sold that cheaply ever again. It’s a beast of a card and I’ll easily get a decade of gaming out of it. Saw 4090s going for over $3K used on eBay lately, so yeah I’m happy with making what was a dumb decision at the time.

It surely doesn’t help that YouTube has replaced broadcast TV for most people. You can’t even go back if you wanted to because TV is all but dead these days. Not unless you don’t mind 24-7/365 marathons of Ridiculousness on MTV, and nothing but reality TV and old reruns catered to 80-year-olds on the remaining channels, cause that’s the only demographic left still watching TV.

Ublock Lite still works on Chrome. There are no custom filters and it doesn’t block a lot of annoyances (like “Sign In With [brand]”), but it gets the job done for most people.
But honestly if you want have the most reliable adblocking experience, then Firefox w/Ublock Origin is still your best bet (also YouTube ReVanced for mobile and SmartTube/SmartTubeNext for TVs).

Don’t buy a wireless headset if you care about things like accurate audio positioning, sound quality, and latency. Get a good pair of over ear headphones and use a good condenser mic along with it (like what YouTubers and streamers use). If you don’t care about mic quality (or just don’t want a big bulky mic), they sell mics that can attach to your headphones.
For most people on a $20-500 budget (so 99% of people), I recommend the Superlux HD681-AIR. The build quality is poor but it makes up for it in every other department.
It has a mostly flat frequency response curve. There is some siblance in the highs—but it can be EQed out—or remedied with a piece of foam to muffle the sound a bit.
The bass is deep and full without being muddy, and extends to around ~10hz, which is incredibly impressive for semi-open back headphones.
Speaking of which, the semi-open back configuration gives you a wide, realistic soundstage and great imaging, which helps with pinpointing where sounds are coming from. If you want realistic 3D audio for things like movies, games, and music, it’s hard to find a headphone under $300 that can accurately activate your pinna just right (which is what you want if you want your audio to sound like it’s coming from all around you rather than inside your head). The Superlux cans are only $25. You cannot get better sound quality at this price point. The HD681-AIR gives you audiophile-quality sound for entry-level prices.
Like I said, the only catch is the build quality of the headphones themselves. All plastic and feels very cheap, but none of that matters the moment you put them on and hear how amazing they sound (no joke, you have to step up to the $500+ price point to get better audio from a pair of headphones). Get a nice pair of velour earpads to replace the sub-par stock leather ones, and then beat the crap out of them until you break them. Then buy another pair.
