Facing a FAANG interview can be a daunting task, and the need for effective preparation is crucial. We were inspired to create a solution that leverages virtual reality and AI to provide users with a unique and immersive experience to practice and enhance their interview skills.

What it does 🚀

"FAANG Slayer" is a virtual reality app designed to help individuals prepare for FAANG interviews in an interactive and engaging way. Users can immerse themselves in a virtual interview environment, where they will face company specific questions and behavioural scenarios while receiving real-time feedback. The app utilizes OpenAI for dynamic and personalized interview questions, making the practice experience more realistic and tailored to each user.

How we built it 🛠️

We combined the power of Unity for virtual reality development, C# for programming logic and Python for integrating OpenAI's advanced language capabilities Our approach allowed us to seamlessly merge the technical and creative aspects of building a virtual reality interview preparation tool.

Challenges we ran into 🤔

Integrating different technologies and ensuring a smooth user experience posed significant challenges. Adapting OpenAI's capabilities to the virtual reality environment and synchronizing interactions required innovative problem-solving. Additionally, optimizing performance to provide a seamless experience on all platforms presented its own set of hurdles.

Successfully bringing together Unity, C#, Python, and OpenAI, we created a robust and user-friendly virtual reality app. Our proudest achievement is providing users with a realistic interview practice environment that adapts to their responses dynamically.
