Inspiration

Our inspiration for this project is our school math teacher, complaining about managing student's weaknesses in bulk

What it does

Our inspiration for Diligent stems from the belief that personalized education is key to effective learning. Recognizing that every student has unique strengths and weaknesses, we aim to harness the power of AI to create tailored learning experiences. By addressing individual gaps in knowledge, Diligent empowers students to achieve their full potential, fostering a love for learning and a deeper understanding of subjects. Our goal is to make high-quality, customized education accessible to all, ensuring that no student is left behind.

How we built it

This application uses node js for the backend and HTML CSS for the UI, Rishaan focused on the backend and frontend, while Ronit focused on backend as well. Edward and Utkarsh did presentation and slides. The AI we used was gpt 3.5-turbo which prompted us with a $5 startup fee.

Challenges we ran into

Some challenges we faced were creating a beautiful UI with an engaging UX. Another difficulty was getting the AI model to work.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Accomplishments we are proud of are successfully creating a AI program that can process requests generating questions for the student that they prompted.

What is next for Diligent is creating the UI to be more fun. Since we mainly focused on backend, this step is next and we would work on this if we had more time.
