D-Group Accelerator
Many churches have a multiplication vision, but they don’t have a multiplication vehicle.
Most churches want to make disciples.
But without a clear, reproducible model, that vision often stalls.
The D-Group Accelerator helps you launch, train, and multiply gender-specific Discipleship Groups (D-Groups) that go beyond connection to real transformation and intentional multiplication.
Whether you're starting from scratch or strengthening what exists, this experience gives you the tools to build a disciple-making culture that lasts.
Why D-Groups Matter
Small groups and Sunday school build community. D-Groups build disciple-makers.
Many Churches are full of connection vehicles, but missing multiplication vehicles. This creates members who are very active in the church’s programming, but not active in making disciples where they live, work, and play.
Your church is perfectly designed to get the results it is getting. You need more than a multiplication vision, you need a multiplication vehicle.
The D-Group Launch Accelerator clarifies the purpose of D-Groups, gives you a blueprint to launch them, and equips your leaders to multiply them. You'll walk away with a framework for accountability, transformation, and long-term strategy for a culture of everyday disciple-making.
What Are D-Groups?
Discipleship Groups (D-Groups, for short) is Replicate’s ministry model, used by over 5,000 churches to increase discipleship and multiplication in the church. The resources and training is a starter template that churches learn from and then customize to fit their context.
Discipleship Groups are gender-specific, closed, micro-groups (3-5 people) that meet for a season of time (typically 1-3 semesters) and then multiply out to go and make disciples.

Sometimes, the best way to understand the purpose of Discipleship Groups (D-Groups) is to clarify what they are not.
D-Groups are not a replacement for Small Groups or Sunday School. They serve a different purpose: multiplication, not just community.
They are not a “deeper” Small Group or Sunday School:
Their goal isn’t about learning more content, but applying what you know and investing in others.
They are not curriculum-driven:
These groups focus on developing four spiritual disciplines: Bible Engagement, Accountability, Missional Living, and Prayer.
They are not ongoing:
These groups meet for a season of time and then multiply. The members become disciple-makers in their circles of influence.
They are not a church program:
These groups happen in the rhythms and relationships of your people’s life. It is not tied to a church building, brand, or calendar.
