@Leonardo-Galani What's your NodeBB version and what version of the plugin are you using?

Doesn't work for me, can't see it in the menu, see here https://community.nodebb.org/topic/8109/rss-poster/4

Running latest 102 and .35 of the plugin.

Running 5.9.1 on a test setup, no problems.

RSS plugin 0.3.5 doesn't show up in the plugin's list after it is installed, so you can't configure anything.

I mean select quotes from multiple posts in a thread, and reply to those all in one reply, IPB, XenForo, etc all have this feature, was just curious if it was on the roadmap for NodeBB.

Post twitter url/link on fresh 1.0.0 and it just shows the standard url.

Click on the view it here, and it works first time, click it again and it is just white space.

Not sure what you guys call it, Discourse calls it one boxing, but is there anything in NodeBB or an add-on that takes URLs to like Twitter, YouTube, etc, and embeds the data inside a post instead of just posting it as a URL?

@julian Thanks, how you've described clustering, that'll scale me vertical (more cpu/ram/etc), how do we go wide, ie multiple instances and multiple instances across multiple locations as @Ted mentioned.

New to NodeBB, and like what I see so far...have some questions, since I don't have experience with Redis or MongoDB.

Can we scale NodeBB across multiple locations, using a geo-based load balancer and using consistency with MondoDB?

Also, how does one scale out NodeBB in a local setup...ie HAproxy, with multiple web front ends, and a common database backend? Think traditional Forum scale stuff.

Trying to understand the options for NodeBB.

The ultimate goal would be a CDN in front of NodeBB, with NodeBB doing geo-based load balancing across 2 or more locations, and using MongoDB backend, and I guess Redis at each location for caching?

Any direction or feedback? Anyone done this yet? Is this doable?
