Ive always been a Notepad++ fan until a few months ago when it randomly corrupt a file here and there. I lost a 200line php class file one day then like a week later, I lost a 175line JS project. Not much to rewrite, but its the principle -_-

Start menu is "optional" correct? You can enable/disable it.

I also like the fact that Windows X (Official Name, not actually 10) APP Store is going be shared with Win Phone market. So all apps/programs do not need 2 seperate versions.

If you get stuck on array/functions. I would recommend you learning JavaScript first before tackling node.js =]

w3schools.com (i think) may be a good starting place for you.

I havn't add the opportunity to play with it, but I am looking forward to it. A lot of people like Windows 7 over Windows 8, but I prefer Windows 8 over Windows 7 and I don't even have a touch screen. I am actually glad there isn't a "Start Menu". I find myself always getting lost or spending more time looking for "Applications". I just click the "Windows" thing on my keyboard and start typing the name of the application or feature.

ex: Filez (brings up FileZilla)
ex; Control Panel

much faster then clicking the start menu and searching for those things.

Some people say "They cant remember the name of an application/program" so they have a hard time re-finding it. We'll, my thoughts on that is if you can't even remember the name of it, it must not be to good and should most likely be uninstalled anyway. =]

Rumor has it that the core contributors of the node project are going to do there own thing and there will soon be many different branches of the "node" project. So if node doesn't make any major improvements, will nodeBB be converted to the next "thing" or ....

nah @psychobunny I been working on games here and there though. I also attempted something called "oRPG Creator" which I think I started way to late as it's built using older technologies. I just recently started a small "Text Based Game Engine" which will be using mostly jQuery/jQueryUI for the front end and PHP on back-end.

I guess I am already doing what I do best (creating/finding weird bugs not on purpose)
