    We are considering using your software for a few schoolfriends. We have checked the plugins you offer and compared with other software and you come very close to what we need. The only thing we can not find and what is decisive for us is a plugin that allows users to vote on a topic like that on reddit. Are there plans to release this plugin in the future or is that not possible with your software?

    the problem is that we do not have money because we are 14 and 15 years old and have little knowledge to write a plugin ourselves. Our budget currently amounts to exactly 128 euros. We do not know if that is sufficient for this plugin if it has to be written.

    If it does not work with our budget, can you give advice on what else we can try?

    I saw some discussions for this before, but it seems like it never has been pursued. Would it be possible to create a plugin which enables a forum wide gallery? Similar to what other forums offer. Features: Upload images outside of topics Create and manage albums Allow users to comment and like images Widget to display latest images Notify image/album owners of new comments/likes How complex is this? Would this be interesting for the nodeBB team to integrate as an offical plugin? I would more than happy drop in a few hundred bucks to get this going, eventually multiple people would want to hop in.

    We use NodeBB 3+ years at https://chatrooms.talkwithstranger.com and some more sites and love NodeBB. We use NodeBB also as a CMS containing English definitions on a dictionary. Our users are loving it. but we are struggling in increasing our Google rankings as all our competitors are using AMP pages to outrank us. We would need an official Google AMP plugin that would enable any node bb topic page , like the 1 I'll post my topic on, to have an alternative Accelerated Mobile Page. https://amp.dev/ Since when each topic will have a corresponding AMP version then it will help us rank much more easily in Google SEO search results and increase our rankings. With this plugin, our users can help us discover our sites and node bb itself site much more easily because Google ranks AMP pages better and higher over normal html pages.     Depends, if you're doing largely front-end code (like embedding an iFrame to some chat application) then a widget works best. If you want to modify the API or save things into the database, then a plugin is right for you. I think your best bet is to figure out what you need to do, and then find a plugin that does something similar, and modify that plugin, or take code from it (it's open source afterall ;))
