Yeah if you put the tags in the content of the posts they will get indexed and search should find them, keep in mind the body of the posts are searched when you search in "posts" so if you are only searching for titles they wont show up.

I am aware that one can subscribe to tags rss (no rss button around tags though). But can user set notification on selected tags as well? It would be good to have such features. Thanks

@Suttilak-Wattanapaiboonsuk There's an autocomplete when you write a tag. What I've done on my forum is that I created a subject in an hidden category where I create each tag I want to appear in ACP (to color them) because tags with 0 uses are still visible and themable. You are limited to 5 tags by default but you can change them just need to submit post to keep the tags
