…actually it seems you can accomplish this without switching regions. I tried it in a different browser without being logged in by putting on Portuguese captions on a European Portuguese video. It kept the Portuguese captioning on when I went over to an English video. So that’s a cool hack for anyone…
@cbdesu On my iOS devices I have the joint PT-EN keyboard so it'll suggest Portugues words as I'm typing, which is nice. I tried throwing FireFox into PT mode but then all the English words are highlighted as misspelled since it doesn't seem to reference multiple dictionaries. I may use a second "Portuguese" browser for those sites so that I can get the dictionary functions working correctly. Maybe LibreWolf for that or something...

I’m trying Pimsleur for the first time to help with my European Portuguese learning. Wow is that a very different experience from MemRise! Each day seems to be a half hour break down of a conversation to teach various aspects of going on. It started off with pretty practical dialog too. I’ll continue using both for awhile. #language #portuguese
@theresmiling Thank you for sharing that. Sorry to hear of that limitation. Maybe language per post is a feature they might implement hopefully in the near future. There's so much interesting stuff out there in other languages and the translations have gotten generally good.

However, if there is a need for it, then we will consider the demand when prioritising our tasks
