Building

Clone in GNOME Builder and run.

Contributing

UI is coded in Blueprint, but due to technical issues is manually compiled into UI. Remember to do this once you update ui!

If you change a localized string, please regenerate all .POT and .PO files. To do this, run meson _build --prefix=/usr && meson compile -C _build phrase-update-po in a terminal, or select the build target phrase-update-po in Builder and build.

This repository uses LFS, so please make sure you have LFS installed and run git lfs pull before you build the project, or else password generation will fail.

If you don't like codeberg, feel free to send patches to phrase@turtle.garden (and any issue or programming things). No other forges will be added.

The GNOME Code of Conduct is used in this project; please, make sure you are following the Code of Conduct when contributing to this project!

Translation

Phrase uses po files, which you can manage using POEDIT. Remember to turn off compilation to .mo files. Phrase also uses Weblate to manage translations.
