technology•Why AI writing is so generic, boring, and dangerous: Semantic ablation
·10 days agoIt will describe anything it disagrees with as “the [x] trap.”
You can prompt it to stop doing these things if you notice it, and it will generally work. Quite useful if something pisses you off about its output.

technology•Why AI writing is so generic, boring, and dangerous: Semantic ablation
·10 days agoI don't really see what's more dangerous about this than what the business world has already been doing since long before AI. Everything is standardized, and everyone is following this or that trend. Creativity was already actively discouraged in favor of following strict guidelines on how to do things. And AI is perfectly adequate to achieve this.

Just a tiny, insignificant problematic aspect like widespread support for fascism. No biggie. Btw, why are all our governments turning towards fascism? Where could this be coming from?
Moreover, present day Russia is a creation by the West itself. It was your governments that wanted the USSR to collapse, your goverments that elevated individuals like Putin post-collapse. Now you get a brutal, capitalist, Anti-LGBT hellpit, that the people of the West somehow pretend just materialized out of nothing, and wasn't a result of their own negligence, their own unwillingness to prevent mass suffering in Eastern Europe and Asia after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
You are constantly in conflict with your own self-made monsters.

FNAF has ruined media literacy for an entire generation of kids with its nonsensical lore, in how it tried to outsmart theorists with dumber and dumber plot twists. If you've interacted with the Deltarune or TADC communities, this will become very apparent.
But also, on a more serious note, Scott Cawthon has repeatedly donated the wealth he gained from FNAF to Republican politicians. It doesn't explain the porn, but FNAF is still somehow connected to the far right anyways.

The blogger is an AI-loving dipshit lib who couldn't leave a good thing well enough alone and felt like it was a great idea to do the FBI's work for them.
The owner of archive.today is a dipshit who thought the best way to retaliate against being doxxed is to doxx the doxxer and use their website to carry out DDOS attacks.
And NATOpedia will use this opportunity to make things harder to look up and push their own propaganda.
