Have people read Rubio's speech at Munich? https://archive.is/LGv26
They're salivating at what's happening. Nobody in charge is capable or interested of splitting. Only fools are laughing now, because you bet they can sustain themselves for decades to come, don't you worry about it.
They're going to squeeze every last drop out of you. Like seriously what makes people feel like they're so special?
Every human's life has the potential to become the next Einstein or Marx or Engels etc. With the exception of maldevelopment cases under such circumstances as famine, wars, social isolation, other rare factors..
The only way I can get people to listen to me is if they fear me. People don't see me as a potential threat and they don't see any value in me, so they brush me aside. The same happens on national level, between nations. We're all products of our environment and ourselves, naturally I will fight if cooperation is refused. What do you expect me to just lay down and die for you? lmao
Say what you want about the Sino-Soviet split but it least it involved two independent and politically viable powers who were able and willing to actually split.
This is not the situation with Europe and the US. European elites have made themselves completely different on America in everything from defense and financial infrastructure to pharmaceuticals and communication services. This is not a split, this is butthuet satraps bickering while being unable and unwilling to risk actually defying the empire.
Europe loves to pretend they're sovereign actors who stand up against their master, but when push comes to shove, they fall right back in line like a good lapdog.
It doesn't help that the current crop of ghoulish EU leaders such as von der Leyen and Kallas are as pro-Amerikkkan as they can get. Whenever the US threatens them, they downplay it and somehow find a way to make it about Russia instead.
They don't really want to give up their cozy position within the imperialist superstructure, which they've greatly benefited from for a long time. Instead, they cling on to this desperate hope of weathering the storm until EU-US relations eventually normalize and they can take their rightful place again, possibly under new US leadership.
At this stage, there's a higher chance of European infighting (like the recent disagreements and growing rivalry between Germany and France) than any serious confrontation between Europe and the US.
There is no longer enough pie left to sustain both the US and Europe, the only way for either to survive is to take everything left that remains on the plate.
I've noticed it also quite a lot in terms of data privacy and choosing European Email providers and Software in general as well. Tuta always advocates for that, being a German Email provider
