Our Mission

Every child will have the opportunity to discover the best in themselves and others in a fun, safe learning environment.

Our History

Camp Fire was founded as a national organization in 1910 and started operating in Alaska in 1913. One of the first youth organizations in the state, today we are a leader in youth development and the largest licensed provider of school-age childcare in Alaska.

Our Programs

Camp Fire offers affordable, high-quality programs, professionally trained staff, activities and events that are appealing to youth, and a fun, safe place to experience it all.  We serve more than 5,000 youth every year after school, during school breaks, all summer long, and across rural Alaska.
