move things to their homes, remove trash, generally make the space less clutter-free

things end up in places they don't belong! Or people don't know where they go.
Doing a pass of dump bins of relevant categories that someone knows, spending 5 minutes moving objects into their proper locations, would help a lot in emptying out dump bins and making sure things are findable without trawling through the dump bins
Maybe things also go in our junk pile? This is a harder call to make though.
