Description
we know when folks tap their cards or put in codes, can we just auto-disable the alarm system without folks needing to manually intervene?
This doesn't stop the need to arm the space manually, but halves the amount of manual work. open to ideas for arming the space automatically too (preferably on this ticket).
Note:
See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.
this would be much easier to do on an in-house alarm syatem, and our alarm contract is up for renewal in a few months. maybe we start implementing this on a self-hosted system, and then switch over to it when the contract expires?
that would also give us more granularity on things like who gets called when the alarm gets tripped, and whether/when the police are called.
