Published source package without accepted or rejected email

Asked by Quentin Lienhardt

Hello,

I published several times in launchpad but today, after successfully achieved my test builds in a separate PPA, I ran my GitHub action that should publish to both jammy and noble. After the run succeeded, the logs shows that the source archive has been uploaded to FTP but I only received one mail for noble accepted. And no mail for jammy (it never happened, I usually got accepted or refused).

Here is the workflow:
https://github.com/QuentiumYT/Stacer/actions/runs/17648387140/job/50152420990#step:9:1

Can someone please tell me how can I look if it is correctly uploaded or delayed. Thanks

Have a nice day

Hi Quentin

I had a look and your upload wasn't signed correctly.

Hello Clinton,

Do you mean both files, or just the jammy package?

Thanks

It looks like just the jammy upload. The noble upload was accepted.

Alright this is weird, it never happened in the past. I guess I have no choice but publishing a new release?

The jammy upload was not accepted so you could re-sign it and re-upload.

Oh yes probably, will try to do that :)
(Even if I haven't received a mail saying it was not accepted)

Rejected:
File stacer_1.3.6.orig.tar.gz already exists in Stacer, but uploaded version has different contents. See more information about this error in https://help.launchpad.net/Packaging/UploadErrors.
Files specified in DSC are broken or missing, skipping package unpack verification.

Looks like it knows the file already ([~quentiumyt/ubuntu/stacer] stacer_1.3.6-1+jammy_source.changes (Rejected))

Right; probably needs a version bump then.
