A legacy of connection
VIU Alumni, formerly the VIU Alumni Association, was established in 1990 and represents graduates from:
- Dominion-Provincial Youth Training Centre/B.C. Vocational School (1936–1971)
- Malaspina College (1969–1988)
- Malaspina University College (1988–2008)
- Vancouver Island University (2008–Present)
This global network spans industries, communities, and generations. Every student who successfully completes a VIU program automatically becomes a member of VIU Alumni.
