More than 1,500,000 copies are in print – not counting foreign editions. GURPS Lite, a 32-page distillation of the basic GURPS rules, is available for free download. We also have dozens of GURPS adventures and e-books available on Warehouse 23.

May 29, 2026: New News Already?

This post is indeed the second one I have published in May. That's because I was late with April's roundup. However, I am 99% settled in after my recent move, and thus ramping up to my usual workload. That includes telling the world what's going on with GURPS at the end of each month. And what luck: This time I have something new to talk about!

Recent Releases

Dungeon Fantasy: Naked Into the Void (May 28, 2026; PDF)

Ever wonder what happens to delvers who retire? Maybe, maybe not – but you almost certainly have a few ideas about all the loot an adventurer can amass during a long career, and may even have designs on the stuff of retirees who aren't using it anyway. This adventure goes there. The question is where "there" is . . . and you might be surprised at the answer. Saying much more would be a spoiler, but one last hint: This isn't your basic hole-in-the-ground dungeon.

The GURPS Basic Set, Fourth Edition Revised is looking solid for the end of July. Thank you for your patience with the schedule slippage – it was beyond our control, so we share your frustration! Upcoming Plans

We shuffled things around to accommodate unavoidable delays on the two printed books we have slated for 2026. We also pushed hard to get the rest of the year's PDFs laid out with art and ready to go. As ever, the list below isn't immune to the unexpected, but where there's a date attached, we're reasonably confident in it.

Now announced everywhere – and with a shiny new web page – the GURPS Basic Set, Fourth Edition Revised is at the printer and looking good to ship in July.
The rearranged production queue for 2026 consists of Phil Masters's GURPS Magical Styles: Modern Magic for June, my GURPS Power-Ups 11: Roll Your Own Skills for July, my GURPS Template Toolkit 5: Quick and Pointless for August, my GURPS Dungeon Fantasy Monsters 6: Tiny Terrors for September, Nathan M.M. Meluvor's GURPS Martial Arts: The Bolognese School for November, and Bill Stoddard and friends' GURPS Ring of Fire for December.
In production as our 2026 reserve is Anders Starmark's GURPS Fantasy Folk: Fishfolk.
The production queue for 2027 contains Alden Loveshade's GURPS Hot Spots: Victorian London, Thomas Pugh's GURPS Banestorm: Whispers of Tohrent, John Shimmin's GURPS Locations: Institute of Metaphysics Library, Paul Stefko's How to Be a GURPS GM: Handling Tech, Matt Wehmeier's GURPS Infinite Worlds: Psionics, and my GURPS Template Toolkit 6: Styles. We have not yet determined the order of publication.
David Pulver's GURPS Armor Design has been reviewed and is being revised for its playtest, which should take place in July 2026.

The same 4 Sekrit Projekts I mentioned last time continue to lurk in the wings. Of these, one enjoyed real progress during May. Watch the GURPS thread in my DreamWidth, updated Fridays, for clues about these or anything above.

I cannot promise that we will need a few more items for 2027, but that seems likely. For anyone thinking of sending us a query letter, the instructions have not changed: We are mainly interested in 12- and 21-page, rules-light supplements. We overwhelmingly favor those that respect the Warehouse 23 Digital Wish List (updated May 4, 2026) and Warehouse 23 Wish List for GURPS (updated May 4, 2026), making exceptions exclusively for people who have written for us for a long time. And we expect all submissions to be in line with the Freelancer FAQ, Submission Guidelines, GURPS formatting guide, and GURPS WYSIWYG template. Thanks in advance!
