My students and chaperones were completely captivated and talked about it for days! Thank you for one of the best gifts my students have received!

Through our Arts in Education programs, the Center reaches young people from Chicago to Kankakee and from Joliet to Schererville, Indiana.

Funded tickets for the Arts in Education matinee series are provided via the Medhurst Children’s Fund, established in memory of board member Ralph Medhurst. Since its inception, the fund has donated more than 33,000 tickets to underserved Southland schools. Students gain exposure to the arts—expanding their horizons, igniting their imaginations, and enhancing their classroom learning. Click here to apply for Medhurst-funded tickets.

Additional funding for programs is provided by the Burt Dikelsky Access to the Arts Fund which increases arts accessibility to students and families in the Chicago Southland by overcoming informational, transportation, social, and economic barriers. Learn more about the fund here.
