Verification email never sent

I'm trying to submit a bug for QuickForm 2 but when I do, I'm notified that I need to
verify my email address first.  However, the verification request is never sent.  I am using my
valid email address and nothing is showing up in spam.  As far as I know, there isn't an issue
on my end as it regards to actually receiving the email.  Is there something going on such that
it's never sent?
