Hi,
I try to install pear on php74 using following
php -d detect_unicode=0 go-pear.phar
and it fails as follow
installing phar:///private/tmp/go-pear.phar/PEAR/go-pear-tarballs/XML_Util-1.4.5.tar...
parsePackageName(): array $param must contain a valid package name in "phar:///private/tmp/go-pear.phar/PEAR/go-pear-tarballs/PEAR-1.10.16.tar"
Invalid tag order in <dependencies>, found <_content> expected one of "group"
Parsing of package.xml from file "/private/tmp/pear/install/pearXuHHr9/package.xml" failed
I know php-7.4 is EOL, but horde groupware 5.22 will not work with the higher versions.
The operating system is macOS High Sierra and php74 installed from macports.. This
problem is fixed with a patch from php 8.2 on.
Can anyone please let me know what is patched and where to download it from so I can apply it to php7.4
