Is it okay that I'm a ______-genic system?

First of all, no one has to qualify or identify what type of system they are to be a stream chat participant. We are as all-inclusive as we are able to be for all forms of plurality, be it traumagenic, cultural, spiritual, etc.  That being said, we do personally have trauma around certain topics within the plural communities just as we have trauma around any other variety of life topics. We ask that out of respect for our safety and well-being that Discourse/Syscourse and discussion of the phenomena known as “Head-Hopping”, “System-Hopping”, and “T*lp*mancy” not be brought up or discussed in our community. We will not be explaining or debating this. Plurals who have these experiences are welcome and we genuinely wish for you safe and welcoming environments where you are able to share and discuss such experiences. The ZanitySystem community will not be one of such environments at this time. While you’re asking this question we know that there are sundry other plural and DID/OSDD rel...

2024 New Years Reflections and Goals

In August on the anniversary of our first year on twitch we  wrote out a reflection and our goals for the future.   In the spirit of the turn of the year from 2023 into 2024 we reviewed the post and here's where we are with our present goals! We've had to scale back quite a few projects. Health upsets can't necessarily be predicted. Also in true DID fashion we had deleted several social media accounts and now we have started or restarted a couple of accounts. We've returned to Twitter/X, and started a BlueSky account. We also made a TikTok account, we're still figuring out what we're going to post while we build our feed.  We're getting more familiar with using VRoid, and as a result we're getting more VTubers for the streamers of Zanity. Pictures can be found on our socials and Pillowfort.   In our August reflections and goals we said that we would.. Continue to grow and foster a fun discord community for viewers Yes we continue to strive! Use the ove...

Poetry Prompt: The Cost of Silence by Zanity System

The cost of silence by Zanity:  Got a prompt from a friend and couldn't help myself. "Ooops, my hand slipped."  Years. Two or three. HAH. Decades. The years ticked on, that's what happens when you're born in silence.  Time ticks on is it cliche to reference the ticking time bomb?  It does tick on.  The cracks the fuse to the bomb.  Sound breaks through but the silence endures.  Sounds break through  so you start to open doors unsure of what's on the other side faced again and again, with the emptiness within when you can't speak and see reflected that they understand.  The cost of silence takes that fuse, instead of a caterpillar entering the cocoon a bomb is set.  In the rubble rebuilding can happen foundations are built.  All an effort  because the sound had spilt over the walls of ignorance and naivety. Childhood friends carry on in leap and strides even those who had opened your eyes.  The cost of silence is wher...

Zanity's Response to "Fakers"

We don’t talk about “Fakers” or “Faking” disorders in our community. Not on stream, not in discord, it’s not a conversation that Zanity System wishes to entertain.  Here is why, for those people who feel the need to understand in-detail. Please keep in mind that any vitriol and hostility read in the tone of this is partially why our system cannot entertain this discussion. This should be the only time and place that this will ever be explained. Common participants of the Zanity System community should have the capacity to respect boundaries without this explanation.  The discussion of “fakers” is rarely productive, beneficial, or safe. These discussions can send those in a sensitive space into a crisis. There are real-world impacts to those who witness such conversations. Suicides, plural, have occurred as a result from these conversations let alone the accusations that these conversations revolve around. We will not be having an environment that breeds lethal self-doubt and d...

1st Year on Twitch: Streamaversary

It’s no surprise that we’re pretty scattered and tend to jump from project to project. Not only do our conditions impact immediate time-management skills, it can also mess with long-term goals. Making it a year as a streamer on Twitch, streaming most months out of the year and learning a lot of things through first-hand experience is absolutely incredible. We considered the first year like the pilot episode: “Okay we’ve done all this work, we have these ideas, everything is good enough to go live so let’s just jump into it and see how we like it.”  Enough of us love it. We’ve learned the limitations of our hardware and the health conditions we live with. The last year taught us a lot about what we can realistically expect from ourselves and our resources. The years to come will only teach us more.  We’re at a point where we’re planning our projects long-term. The last year has been a mad dash of following the dopamine while taking and applying advice from other community membe...

"Still There" game reflections 4/22/2023

ðŸš€ Still There  🚀 Game So Far, Daydreaming Future Potentials, Minimal/No Spoilers Big thanks to everyone who lurked and chatted in stream today! Got hit by the big feels by the game (Still There) we were playing so we swapped to Slay The Spire for the last stretch of stream. We had an inkling it might get intense when Ethan lit a candle and grabbed the weighted blanket.  What a psychologically and emotionally deep story. There's no even knowing how intricate it gets from the trailers alone. A lot if things are being framed in a way to indicate a break in reality... Or perhaps multiple breaks in realities. There's a lot of unanswered questions.  There's a lot of voice acting and narration to do on our part so it's a little challenging. The dialogue of the game is fantastic! Each character is represented well as unique individuals. We've also had a long-term secret desire to be a voice actor so it's cool to see that becoming part of our work. We can brush up on ...
