Bank Transfer payment details change

Hey there. This is a short announcement.
On July 1st, 2025, important changes have been made to WIPO's banking payment details. In this video, we'll break down what's changing and how you can make sure your payments continue smoothly and securely.
Due to the merger of Credit Suisse and UBS, WIPO will be opening new bank accounts with UBS.
Please note: if you are a WIPO or UPOV Member, this change is NOT applicable to the payment of your annual WIPO or UPOV contributions. Please use the UBS bank account already communicated to you on your contribution statement.
So, what exactly is changing?
- IBAN,
- SWIFT code, and
- bank name.
The change will impact both WIPO and UPOV's banking details starting July 1st, 2025.
Make sure to update your banking information for all future transactions with WIPO and UPOV.
You can find the updated banking information relevant to your sector on the Paying for IP Services webpages. When paying with WIPO Pay, you will receive the updated payment instructions by email.
Use the payment instructions as provided on WIPO's official website only and be aware of possible scam attempts by phone, email, or text message.
To sum up, revise your records and make sure to use the new IBAN, SWIFT code, and bank name for all future transactions with WIPO and UPOV.
