ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - Virginia’s American Revolution 250 Commission (VA250) is taking the Commonwealth’s Revolutionary history celebration on the road with its Mobile Museum Experience, an interactive “museum on wheels” housed in a quad-expandable tractor-trailer.

The VA250 Mobile Museum Experience will be at the Annual Pearisburg Festival.

Here @ Home sits down with Erin Smith, the Program Coordinator, for the Mobile Museum Experience about what visitors can expect.

The mobile museum brings key stories of Virginia’s rich history to schools, museums, local events, fairs, and more, highlighting every region of the state.

June 5 and 6, visitors are invited to explore the Mobile Museum’s exhibit, Out of Many, One, from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday.

Admission is free.
