This Day in History: Congress passes Neutrality Act

(WDBJ) - June 5, 1794:
Congress passed the Neutrality Act, codifying George Washington’s policy on neutrality from 1793 into law.
The act banned Americans from taking part in any military action against a country that was at peace with the United States of America at the time.
