ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - It’s time for another Tuesdays of Honor and today we are highlighting an Army veteran who was drafted in 1952.
James Guilliams spent 8 months on the front lines of the Korean War as a runner delivering messages between units.
He was awarded multiple medals and was honorably discharged in 1953.
He retired from the post officer in 1995 after 31 years of service. He and his wife Mary have 2 children and 5 grandchildren.
James passed in March of 2019, and we’d like to thank him for his life filled with service.
