RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - Virginians can travel back in time, exploring historical sites across the state, through a passport program celebrating the country’s 250th birthday.
The Virginia 250 Passport program launched on Veterans Day in 2025 as part of a year-long initiative.
Passports are free and available at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture, Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, Monticello, Mount Vernon, the Virginia 250 Mobile Museum and 12 welcome centers on highways across the state.
