This Day in History: Marchers crossed Robert E. Lee Bridge

RICHMOND, Va. (WDBJ) - May 18, 1968:
Marchers crossed the Robert E. Lee bridge in Richmond to join caravans heading to Washington, D.C., for the Poor People’s March.
The march was organized by The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Gray Media, parent company of WDBJ7, is celebrating the upcoming 250th birthday of the United States of America with a year-long look at our country called “We the People”.
