From barren seas to thriving ecosystems.
We remove urchins, restore kelp forests, capture carbon, create livelihoods and produce world-class uni, to convert ecological damage into regenerative value at a global scale.
Read our storyThe oceans aren’t beyond repair. Not only have we restored what’s been lost, we’ve built a true circular economy in its place.

The Problem
A silent collapse beneath the waves
Kelp forests are one of the planet’s most vital ecosystems. They absorb carbon, shelter marine life, and protect coastlines. But in oceans around the world, these underwater forests are vanishing. Why? Because sea urchins, once part of a balanced food web, are now overrunning the seafloor, devouring kelp faster than it can regrow.
Without intervention, we are losing vital kelp forests and entire ecosystems.
